Ladki Bahin Yojana Maharashtra — Calculations & Slabs for FY 2026-27

To qualify for the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, an applicant must be: 1. A permanent female resident of Maharashtra. 2. Aged between 21 and 65 years. 3. Married, widowed, divorced, abandoned, or destitute (or one unmarried woman per family). 4. Family income must be under ₹2.5 Lakh per year. 5. No family member should be a government employee or income tax payer.

Applications can be submitted online through the official portal (ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in) or via the Nari Shakti Doot mobile app. Offline applications can also be submitted through Anganwadi centres, Gram Panchayat offices, or local ward offices.

The scheme provides a monthly financial assistance of ₹1,500, which accumulates to ₹18,000 per year. The funds are credited directly to the beneficiary's Aadhaar-linked bank account via DBT.

The essential documents include: 1. Aadhaar Card. 2. Maharashtra Domicile Certificate (or School Leaving Certificate / Birth Certificate showing birth in Maharashtra). 3. Annual Income Certificate (up to ₹2.5 Lakh issued by a competent authority). 4. Aadhaar-linked Bank Passbook. 5. Passport size photograph. 6. Signed declaration form.
