How We Verify Our Data

Our Verification Process
- 1 Source from official portals only. We never use third-party blogs, news articles, or aggregator sites as primary data sources. Every rate or threshold is traced to the official gazette notification or government portal.
- 2 Cross-check before publishing. Any new rate is independently verified against at least two official sources before the calculator is updated.
- 3 Quarterly review cycle. All Indian Finance calculators are reviewed at the start of each quarter (April, July, October, January) to catch any rate changes published by the Ministry of Finance or RBI.
- 4 Budget-cycle updates. Income tax slabs, Section 80 limits, and standard deduction thresholds are reviewed immediately after the Union Budget presentation (typically last week of January or first week of February).
Important Limitation
Desi Calculator tools are designed for estimation and financial planning — not for legal, tax, or investment advice. Rates change; government rules are amended without notice. Always verify the current applicable rates with the official source or a qualified Chartered Accountant before making financial decisions. Report outdated data and we will fix it within 24 hours.
