- Cashless Medical Cover: All children are registered as beneficiaries under Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY) with a health insurance cover of ₹5 Lakh per year, and the premium is paid by PM CARES till they turn 18.
- Financial Support: The scheme creates a post office account for each child and tops it up so that the corpus reaches ₹10 Lakh when they turn 18. Interest earned is given as a monthly stipend till 23, when they get the principal of ₹10 Lakh tax-free.
